A Beautiful Outdoor Wedding at Patten Cabin
I recently had the joy of photographing the most fun-loving couple at Patten Cabin in Lakeland, GA and I’m still smiling thinking about their day.
From the moment I arrived, I could feel the energy. This couple brought such a playful, genuine vibe to their wedding day, and it was absolutely contagious. Their outdoor ceremony was intimate and beautiful, surrounded by their closest family and friends in the peaceful setting of Patten Cabin.
One of my favorite parts of the day was capturing their cake photos. These two just love having fun together, and it showed in every frame. The laughter, the joy, the way they looked at each other—it was pure magic to witness and photograph.
Of course, outdoor photography comes with its challenges. The direct sunlight during parts of the day made shooting tricky, but working through those moments and still capturing beautiful images is what I love about this work. Natural light can be unpredictable, but it’s always worth it for the authentic, glowing results.
What I treasure most about smaller weddings like this one is the closeness you can feel. Every person there mattered deeply to the couple, and you could sense the love and support surrounding them throughout the day. There’s something incredibly special about intimate celebrations where family bonds shine through in every moment.
